            These are the subjects and content areas the students will be studying this

week.  Please make sure that your child goes over these areas of study with

you. 

Virtue of the Month:  Courage 

Math: Fractions of a Group, Division Answers Ending with Zero, Finding Information to Solve Problems, Math Test on Thursday

History:  Cont. Days of a Knight, A Serf and His Turf, Pioneers in California, Mexico Defeated 

Religion:  Gods Forgiveness, The Sacrament of Reconciliation, Expressing Our Sorrow and Return to God

Science:  Chapter 7 Test (Rescheduled from last week), 8-1 Air Rises and Falls, 8-2 Wind  

Language Arts/Writing:  Grammar Unit 3 Review, Unit 3 Test, Adjectives, A, An, The, Continue Reading Robinson Crusoe, Definitions, Synonyms, Antonyms, Match the Meaning, Prefixes, Adages and Proverbs

Check Monday Envelope for:  Principal’s Newsletter and flyers from the office.  The Monday Envelope needs to be signed and returned to school by Wednesday.

Math: Multiplying by Multiples of Ten, Division with Two-Digit Answers & a Remainder, Millimeters, Math Test on Thursday

History:  Life in a Castle, Days of a Knight, Review for Unit 2 Chapter 4 Test (Oh, California Book), Test will be on Wednesday the 23^rd, Students will work on their sugar cube castles this week.

Religion:  The Annunciation, The First Disciple, Mother of Mercy, Listening to God

Science:  Chapter 7 Review, Chapter 7 Test on Thursday the 24th

Language Arts/Writing:  Grammar Unit 3 Review, Unit 3 Test, Adjectives, A, An, The, Continue Reading Robinson Crusoe, No Spelling Words or Spelling Test This Week

Check Monday Envelope for:  Principal’s Newsletter and flyers from the office.  The Monday Envelope needs to be signed and returned to school by Wednesday.
