Fourth Grade Curriculum Update

            These are the subjects and content areas the students will be studying this

next week.  Please make sure that your child goes over these areas of study with

you. 

Virtue of the Month:  Appreciation and Wonder for the Beauty of Our Earth 

Math:  Reading Fractions and Mixed Numbers from a Number Line, Multiplications Facts (Memory Group), Reading an Inch Scale to the Nearest Fourth  *Math Test on Thursday

History:  Review African Unit (Unit Test will be on the 29^th of November)

Living with the Land, Life in an Indian Village (Oh, California Text)

Religion:  Unit 2 Session 11 – Continuing Jesus’ Mission, Welcomed into the Church, A Celebrating Community (No Religion Test this week)

Science:  Review Chapter 4 (Science Test this Thursday the 15^th)

Language Arts/Writing:  Irregular Plural Nouns, More to Explore about Writing, Using Your Senses, Writing a Descriptive Paragraph  *No Spelling Homework or Spelling Test this week.

Check Monday Envelope for:  Principal’s Newsletter and flyers from the office.  The Monday Envelope needs to be signed and returned to school by Wednesday.
