            These are the subjects and content areas the students will be studying this

next week.  Please make sure that your child goes over these areas of study with

you. 

Virtue of the Month:  Charity 

Math:  Rounding Numbers to the Nearest 100, Multiply by Multiples of 10 & 100, More Adding and Subtracting, Multiplying Two-Digit Numbers Part 1,

            *Math Test on Thursday

History: Early Explorers, First European Settlers, Presidios, Missions, and Pueblos, Chapter 2 Test on Wednesday the 5th (Oh California book pgs. 30-47)

Religion:  Liturgical Year, Advent, God’s Promise, The Advent Wreath, The Journey of the Magi, Jesus’ Visitors                        *Religion Test on Friday

Science:  Curved Reflectors, Chapter Review

Language Arts/Writing:  Synonyms, Antonyms, Match the Meaning, Completing The Sentence, Making a Word Map continued, Writing an Outline continued, Writing a Short Report, More Present-Tense Verbs

            *Spelling Test on Friday

Check Monday Envelope for:  Principal’s Newsletter and flyers from the office.  The Monday Envelope needs to be signed and returned to school by Wednesday.
