            These are the subjects and content areas the students will be studying this week.  Please make sure that your child goes over these areas of study with

you. 

Virtue of the Month:  Graciousness & Courtesy 

Math:  Dividing by 10, Adding Decimal Numbers, Subtracting Decimal Numbers, Math Test on Thursday

History:  Farming Takes Hold, Growth in Southern California, Problems Facing Agriculture, Meet the Colonists, If You Lived in the Colonies

Religion:  The Great Commandment, The First Three Commandments

Science:  Animal Life Cycles, Plant Life Cycles

Language Arts/Writing:  Definitions, Match the Meaning, Synonyms, Antonyms, Completing the Sentence, Word Associations, Suffixes (ance, able, ible, ness), The Period, The Comma, Spelling Test on Friday

Check Monday Envelope for:  Principal’s Newsletter and flyers from the office.  The Monday Envelope needs to be signed and returned to school by Wednesday.
