            These are the subjects and content areas the students will be studying this

next week.  Please make sure that your child goes over these areas of study with

you. 

Virtue of the Month:  Self Control & Self Discipline

Math:  Drawing Pictures of Fractions, Multiplication as Repeated Addition, Elapsed Time, The Multiplication Table, Multiplication Facts (0, 1, 2, 5), Multiplication Patterns     Math Test on Thursday

Geography:  World Mountains Test on Tuesday

History:  Mali and Sundiata Keita, Mansa Musa and His Pilgrimage, Songhai and Askia Muhammad

Religion:  Unit 2 Session 8 – Jesus, Son of God, On the Cross, Jesus Died for Our Sins, Praying the Creed, What We Believe, Faith Summary

Science:  People Cause Change, Chapter 3 Review, Begin Chapter 4 - Light Sources, Straight Lines     Science Test on Wednesday

Language Arts:  Definitions, Match the Meaning, Synonyms and Antonyms, Completing the Sentence, The Three Types of Pronouns, The Thing or Person Spoken About   Writing:  Writing Instructions, Writing a Feature Story   Reading:  Finish Reading Pollyanna     Spelling Test on Friday

Check Monday Envelope for:  Principal’s Newsletter and flyers from the office.  The Monday Envelope needs to be signed and returned to school by Wednesday.

Other:

            The spelling words for the week are in the student vocabulary books.
