            These are the subjects and content areas the students will be studying this

next week.  Please make sure that your child goes over these areas of study with

you. 

Virtue of the Month:  Self Control & Self Discipline

Math:  Subtracting Three Digit Numbers with Regrouping, Larger-Smaller Difference Word Problems, Squares and Square Roots, Multiplication Facts (9’s)     Math Test on Thursday

History:  Mansa Musa and His Pilgrimage, Songhai and Askia Muhammad

Religion:  Unit 2 Session 9 – Following Jesus’ Example, Works of Mercy

Science:  Straight Lines, Spreading Light

Language Arts:  Word Study 3 Homophones, Review Unit 1 in Grammar Book   Writing:  Writing a Story: Plot and Setting, Writing a Book Report, Writing About Book Characters   Spelling Test on Friday

Check Monday Envelope for:  Principal’s Newsletter and flyers from the office.  The Monday Envelope needs to be signed and returned to school by Wednesday.

Other:

Wednesday is the Halloween Carnival

Friday is a minimum day with noon dismissal
